I am Jonathan Chines, and I am honored to serve on the Wakefield Town Council.

I love this town, and my wife, Maria Muti, and I are proud to raise our four young children here. Between the beauty of Lake Quannapowitt, our rich history, the caliber of our schools, and spirit of our community, Wakefield has so much to offer. I ran for Town Council because I believe that with the right leadership, there is so much we can do to move our community forward and improve life for our residents.

 

• We can enhance quality of life for all residents, preserving affordability, supporting pandemic recovery for our businesses, and improving the pedestrian path around Lake Quannapowitt.

• We can promote openness and good government, enhancing communication with residents and maintaining fiscal responsibility.

​

• We can invest in our future, building a modern high school that meets our students' needs, and improving Wakefield's roads and sidewalks.

 

None of these things will happen without proactive and engaged Town Councilors. I pledge to bring energy, innovative ideas, and a respectful approach to addressing the challenges we face. Together, we can do more to move Wakefield forward.
